Is Hunting Ethnical?

When the movie Bambi came out on video I was just a little girl, it was my favorite movie it was the only movie that my mom could get me to sit and watch the whole thing. That movie made me think that hunting is bad because a hunter killed Bambi’s mom. It was sad for me. In our house we have a deer head on our wall and I remember telling myself that I will never hunt and I was mad at my dad for shooting that deer. Now that I’m older my mind has changed. The way that the population of deer is growing I think that if someone wants to hunt in hunting season for deer I'm okay with it. But if there are people shooting a deer not on hunting season is wrong. I feel that if someone shoots a deer make it worth it. I will never shoot a deer for my own reasons. I would never have eaten a deer for the longest time. For most of my life I was against hunting, it was wrong and cruel, which it still is, I just didn't understand how someone can shoot something so innocent and care free animal that hasn't done anything to harm people. I still feel this way but understand that the deer population is over flowing. So know I understand that hunting is a population control, not a game. The population is so bad that deer are being hurt or killed by cars and deer are also killing or hurting people by being hit by cars.
